the final concert of the tour was in berlin

the concert was held at the kosmos theater, deep in the former eastern section.

the kosmos is situated on the famous karl-marx-allee, known for regimental processions and parades - an awesome architectural statement consisting of rows and rows of towering, impressive buildings, along a wide tree-lined avenue

backstage, deva shares a chai with the nepalese ambassador, and our friend dil gurung, owner of the buddha house, akazienstrasse 27 - great food and wonderful shop

eventually, with a little encouragement, the men open their voices and let go (well, most of them)!

the concert was organised by our friends at spirit yoga in berlin

at the end of the concert, our sound tech sakha is the first to welcome us off stage to bid us a tearful and heartfelt good bye as we go our separate ways

we’ll be back together in greece!

a few days later we were in the village of iphofen in southern germany, where, surprise surprise, we attended a stunning exhibition of tibetan art

in contrast to the statue above, the buddha exudes silence, peace and serenity

tibetan prayer flags adorn the coutyard

– this tangkha depicts milarepa, the famous tibetan yogi and poet

the white tara in lotus flower - some of the thangkas are over 300 years old

and the village is even older
