back stage we had the honour of meeting tibetans gazoma-la and khenpo-la
they told us stories about their village in tibet and how sad they were that they could not return to their homeland

gazoma sang to us – and her beautiful voice brought the silence and grandeur of the mighty himalayas into our dressing room

meanwhile, outside, in the auditorium, friends were arriving

filling the hall with their loving energy

in the quiet of the dressing room deva and road manager, jalal, fine tune the tanpura before going on stage

..and then we’re back under the lights again, and back in ‘the zone’...

with the stories and songs of gazoma-la and khenpo-la still in our hearts we dedicate the concert to the dalai lama and his people
