Into The Heartland of America
denver – atlanta – dallas – tucson – philadelphia – on we go...
it’s been a ride to remember...a trip of a lifetime...a whisper in a hurricane... here are a few random moments caught by our digital cowboy, manartha
happy birthday, deva!
raining rose petals surprise our birthday girl at the beginning of the concert in santa fe, new mexico

mahadeva - ecstatic t–shirt wallah/yogi

that line for the concert in dallas just kept growing and growing...

..right outside our home...

meeting you all is always a thrill

...so is receiving the love you bring...

ecstatic t-shirt wallah wife-to-be yogini, shanti – with hubby-to-be mahadeva, modeling the tour ‘merch’...

kerry, paul’s wife, having fun with krishna during our stop-over in boulder

paul ‘s vivacious daughter kira joined the bus in boulder – she’s so hot we decided she needed a minder – who better than kd crew bus driver, denny ;0)

somewhere in the heartland of america - a much needed stretch

a quiet moment with my man ‘h’ - from texas

girls talk

steel and glass in america

oneness

after concert hugs by the bus in atlanta

all is one!

a few years ago we met bill raines and his friends... this is an old photo from that time
bill was an inspirational teacher and guide to many.

this year, when we arrived in phoenix arizona bill was close to his transition.
sandy, bill's wife, gave us permission to share this precious moment with you, saying bill would have wanted it:
here’s deva saying good bye and chanting for him.
although bill wasn’t conscious, there was no doubt that he heard and received the mantras.
5 days after deva’s visit, bill passed peacefully, with sandy and close friend mika chanting the gayatri at his bedside.
go with god, bill.

denny, off minder duties, serenades us at deva’s birthday party.

it was a sweet party.
at last we had time to meet each other and hang out
here’s deva with kd guitarist and producer, david nichtern

discussing shirt styles

thanks to donny and jackie epstein, we received this great basket of chocolate covered fresh fruit

no, this is not robert plant – it’s omkar from the white swan office

sometimes even tour managers have to eat...paul puts down his phone and enjoys the indian buffet...

speech...

off the bus for a night...this is a good thing...

back on the road, parmita checks her wares...

even angels...

... get the blues...

pre-concert tune up in the bus ... notice the (un-made) bunks in the background

bansuri wallah practices difficult asana

and on we go...

I wish you all many more happy days together on the road. You sure look to have fun, even though it probably is very tiring.
I loved the picture of the tune-up and unmade bunks.
Love and joy,
Alexandra
